Connecting to an External Power Source
If using the cable that comes with the cigar ette lighter adapter , simply connect it
to the cigar ette lighter outlet. I f you wish to make a per manent mount to a
power supply , cut the cable betw een the po wer supply bo x and the cigar ette
lighter adapter . Attach the r ed (+) and black (-) wir es to y our exter nal po wer
sour ce. The input v oltage range for exter nal po wer is 9-16 VDC.
Caution: Do not b ypass the po wer supply bo x or y ou will damage y our unit
and void the warranty .
