Attaching or Removing corner rails
The MB199UC cart platform accepts channeled corner rails which
allow the attachment of a variety of accessories. Below are
instructions for installing and removing the rails from the base cart.
Attaching Rails -
Instructions refer to the attachment or
removal of one rail at a time.
1.
Remove the existing 5 fasteners
(X.)
from the locations
on the cart
(W.) .
2.
Place the large back wall of the corner rail
(V.)
against
cart and align the holes between the cart and rail.
NOTE:
the rails should be oriented like the image below
with the smaller channel facing outward towards either
the front or back of the cart.
3.
Insert the top most fastener and let the rail settle down
onto the fastener. Hold the rail in that settled
position while fully tightening.
NOTE:
This will ensure
the rail is not too high and does not interfere with the
slide out upper tray when opened.
4.
Proceed with inserting the other fasteners starting from
the bottom up.
NOTE:
make sure to fully tighten all
fasteners.
Removing Rails -
Instructions refer to the attachment or
removal of one rail at a time.
1.
Follow the attachment instructions but reverse the
order of operations. Be sure to start with the lowest
fastener.
Attaching corner rail caps
After attaching the rails, side handle, bumpers and
accessories, install the corner rail caps.
1.
Place the corner rail cap
(Q.)
on the top surface of the
corner rail making sure to align the cap holes with the
holes on the holes on the corner rail
(O.) .
(P.)
to
secure.
DO NOT
over tighten or you risk damaging the
rail cap.
NOTE:
the holes in the corner rails are
forming screw that will cut their own thread.
