OPERATION OF SAFETY DEVICE
When the lid is fully opened, the safety device will automatically engage to prevent accidental closing. To
disengage safety device, first ensure both folding side step trays are completely stowed inside box and all
drawers are completely closed. Then, push the bottom portion of the device until it aligns with the open
slot and slightly close the lid. Now, once hands and objects are cleared, the lid can be lowered to its fully
closed and locked position.
NOTE: Do not attempt to close the box lid without depressing the safety device. Permanent
damage to the lid will result!
