ATTENTION!
Specific smell or light smoke may appear after the first switching on the
device due to dust or lubricating oil ingress on heating surfaces. This is normal and after
several minutes of the device operation these effects shall disappear.
- Slightly smear the heating surfaces with a small quantity of food oil.
- Connect the device to the mains. Both indicators (red mains indicator and green indicator
of the heating surfaces readiness) will light up.
- Leave the device to warm up for about 10 min. The device must be closed when warming
up.
When the green light flashes again, your device is ready for use.
ATTENTION!
The red indicator will be on during the whole period of cooking while the plug
is connected to the socket. The green indicator will periodically flash and go out, this is a
normal regime of the device operation.
Cooking wafers
- Prepare frying batter. Mix the ingredients: 100 g of sugar, 100g of flour, 2 eggs. To avoid
sticking of wafers to heating surfaces, add some margarine.
- Always warm up the heating surfaces to operating temperature before cooking.
- Open the cover and pour a portion of the batter prepared to the center of the lower
heating surface Picture 2 (page 2).
- To obtain wafers of similar size distribute the batter over the heating surface uniformly.
Pour the batter in the quantity sufficient to cover the whole heating surface. The batter
should be poured quickly to obtain the wafer of uniform color.
- Close the cover and fix it with a latch. Keep closed. In the process of cooking vapor shall
emerge from the wafer-maker. When the vapor stops, it means that the wafer is ready.

After cooking is finished disconnect the device from the mains, let it cool down and clean.
Maintenance and care
WARNING!
- Before cleaning the appliance in any way, make sure that the appliance plug is not
connected to the socket.
- Before cleaning unplug the appliance and let it cool completely.
- Never place it in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use abrasive or aggressive detergents. Do not scrape or shave the device with
metal sponges and sharp objects.
