3. GENERAL INFORMATION
GA-60
gas analyser can be equipped with up to 6 electrochemical sensors and 2
NDIR gas sensors. Depended on the configuration, the analyser can measure the
concentration of the following gases: O
2
, CO
2
, CH
4
, CO, NO, NO
2
, NOx, SO

, H

gases are measured using optical sensors (NDIR – non-
dispersive infra-red). All other gases are measured using electrochemical cells. Gas
concentrations can be presented as:
volume concentration (% or ppm)
mass concentration (mg/m
3
)
mass concentration referred to oxygen (mg/m
3
)
Additionally, the analyser measures fumes temperature, ambient temperature
(with use of thermocouple and PT500 sensor), atmospheric pressure and differential
pressure. Based on the measurement data and on the fuel parameters, the analyser can
calculate the following values:
stack loss
loss by incomplete combustion
efficiency
excess air (lambda)
All the measured and calculated values can be presented on the analyser's
display, stored in reports on MMC/SD memory card or in the analyser's internal memory.
They can also be represented by electrical signals through analogue outputs (current or
voltage).
