Connecting the Speaker to the Amplifier
Ÿ
Make sure the amplifier is turned off before connecting the speakers to the amplifier.
Ÿ
The speaker impedance is 4 Ω. Make sure the amplifier’s minimum allowed impedance is 4 Ω or less.
Ÿ
Connect the (-) and (+) terminals of the speakers to the corresponding (-) and (+) terminals on the back panel of the amplifier. Note!
The auditory image and directional effect of the speaker may deteriorate significantly if connected with reverse polarity.
Ÿ
Connect the left speaker to the left channel of the amplifier and the right speaker to the right channel.
Ÿ
Check that the speaker wires are not short-circuited when making connections.

Operating Precautions
Ÿ
Make sure the amplifier’s volume control is set to minimum setting before turning on the amplifier.
Ÿ
The peak power of the speaker is 85 W. Higher power levels can damage the speaker system. Even if the amplifier has a peak
power less than 85 W, do not use the speaker at too high volume to prevent sound distortion. This can also damage the speaker.
Speaker Placement
Ÿ
The sound of the speaker system varies depending on the location. Please note the following when installing the speakers:
a) Optimal distance between speakers is 2-5 meters.
b) Low frequencies tend to be emphisized if speaker is placed close to the wall.
c) Place your speakers so that the tweeters are at roughly the same height as your ears.
Cleaning the Speaker Housing

The speaker cabinet can be cleaned with a soft lint-free cloth. If the dirt is very stubborn, dampen a cloth and use a mild all-purpose
cleaner. Strong cleaning agents may damage the surface of the housing. Avoid using sprays close to the speakers.
