CONFIGURE REMOTE RELAYS

Menu path: Main Menu-->CONFIGURE SYSTEM? -->MANUAL CONFIGURE? -->CONFIGURE RELAYS, H/S, BUZZER? -->CONFIGURE

REMOTE RELAYS?

To configure remote relays, follow the menu as shown in the images below. The user must first select DISCOVER REMOTE

RELAYS before ASSIGN AND CONFIGURE REMOTE RELAYS becomes selectable.

Once the system has found remote relay, the screen shown in Figure 4-36 below will be display with address of remote relay. If

DVP-1200 does not find any remote relay, then it will display NO RELAY FOUND in bottom box of the LCD. In this case it is

recommended to verify the communication settings for Remote Relay in DVP-1200 matches with RR-24 unit in addition to

verifying the wiring between RR-24 and DVP-1200.

After successful remote relay discovery, next step is to assign and configure remote relay. Relays 9 to 12 in DVP-1200 are

reserved for remoted relays. Odd number relay (9 and 11) correspond to Relay 1 of the remote relay (RR-24) and even number

relay (10 and 12) correspond to Relay 2 of the remote relay (RR-24). Remote relays can only be assigned to continuous relay

number i.e. a remote relay can be assigned either Relay 9 and 10 or Relay 11 and 12. If only one remote relay is connected, then

DVP-1200 will only allow to assign the connected remote relay to Relay 9 and 10. Follow the menu sequence as shown below to

assign remote relay.
