Cutterbar Doors
WARNING
To reduce the risk of personal injury or machine damage, do NOT operate the machine without all the cutterbar doors
down or without curtains installed and in good condition. Foreign objects can be ejected with considerable force when
the machine is started.

Two doors (A) with rubber curtains provide access to the
cutterbar area.
Curtains (B) and (C) are attached to each front corner and at the
center respectively. Always keep curtains lowered when
operating the disc header.
Rotary disc headers sold outside of North America have latches
on the cutterbar door.
IMPORTANT:
Replace curtains if they become worn or damaged. Refer to
Maintaining Curtains, page 164
.

Opening Cutterbar Doors

To open cutterbar doors on a header with export latches, refer to

To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of machine, always stop the engine and remove the key from
the ignition before leaving the operator

Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
