All programming is carried out using the display and the buttons on the
front of the DT-1700.
When the receiver is in use, the buttons on the front are locked by a
button lock. This is shown by a symbol in the upper left-hand corner of the
display. The lock is de-activated by pressing the MENU and ENTER buttons
at the same time for approximately 2 seconds.

Press the Menu button.
Use the Up/Down buttons to specify a number.
Use the Left/Right buttons to move between the numbers.
ENTER
Press the Enter button to move to the next menu option.
NOTE!
The value of the frequency setting (If- frequency) is
calculated using the local oscillator frequency (L.O.) on the
microwave head (LNB).
Calculation example for the middle frequency
A satellite channel with frequency of 12 054 and an LNB with L.O. 10 600
MF = 12 054 – 10 600 =
1454
, which is the frequency to be set.
POLARISATION
Use the Up/Down buttons to select the desired polarity, H/V.
ENTER
Press the Enter button to move to the next menu option.
IMPORTANT!
When using a Quatro LNB the polarity must be set
to ”H (= horizontal)” to ensure reliable function.
