RISERS
Brake handles:
Special brake handles are equipped with swivels, neodyme magnets and soft loop
extensions. The brake handle can be modified according to the pilot’s wishes from
soft, semi-rigid or rigid using different inserts provided.
Strong neodyme magnets hold the brake handles perfectly to the D risers. Attaching
and releasing the brakes from the risers work very easily and quickly during flight.
This minimises the danger of getting them caught in a spinning propeller. Controlling
the canopy with two fingers using the extended soft loops is great for long flights. It
is less tiring for your hands and comfortable when trimmers are fully open/released.
Wing tip steering lines:
The adjustable thin brake lines attached on brake handles can be used for steerings by
low angles of attack. Grabbing the line over the swivel and by pulling this lines you can
correct any engine torque moments to keep your wing flying straight without using your
brakes handles for corrections. Powerful paramotors with bigger propellers tend to turn
your wing in the opposite direction to which the propeller is turning. This is very useful
during long navigation flights and when you have released the trimmers and fully
engaged the speed system.
These thin lines can be shortened up to 10 cm by experienced pilot to achieve higher
bank angles for slaloming. When shortening this line the glider dives faster and easier
by turning.
WARNING! Never shorten these lines more then 10 cm!
Some pilots prefer to have easy risers and classic brakes. If you are one of them you
can remove wing tip steering lines from your glider. The wing will keep its excellent
handling.
