Connect a 9V alkaline Procell, Duracell , Energizer or Duracell Industrial battery to the battery clip to the
keyboard (or battery box) , and check the lock functions .
Please lay the cables in such a way that they are not kinked, that the cables are not crushed and that
there is no friction with moving parts of the boltwork.
When installing the cable, make sure that the connecting cable has enough space between the lock and
moving parts. We recommend a distance of at least 5 mm and a fixation of the connecting cables e.g.
by means of cable ties.
If the distance between the cable and the lock is too small, the manufacturer (M-LOCKS) can provide
you with special M6 spacer bolts (increase the distance by 6 mm) or longer M6 / polyamide-coated
fastening screws.
When using longer fastening screws, it is possible to independently increase the distance (lock / bolt-
work) using metal spacer washers / bushings.
In this case, please ensure that the fastening screws still have sufficient engagement with the fasten-
ing points of the boltwork.
