REPLACING THE BATTERY
If the lock emits a series of audible tones when
opened, the battery is almost exhausted and
must
be
replaced
immediately.
You
may
only use 9V ALKALINE Duracell, Dura-
cell
Industrial-
or
Energizer
batteries
.
To insert a battery, loosen the screw (if present)
and slide the cap off the unit as shown. Remove
the used battery and connect one (1) fresh bat-
tery to the battery clip. Align cap in the little track
of the housing and slide back on. Be careful
not to pinch the battery cable.
