3. Stopping STAIRMATE in the middle of
the stairs Once the finger is released
from Switch, Electromagnetic Brake will
function immediately and STAIRMATE will
immediately stop. Because the lugs rest on
the stair noses, STAIRMATE will not slide
down the stairs.

Caution
(Contacting only two stair noses)
Avoid STAIRMATE stopping midway on the stairs.
If STAIRMATE must stop midway on the stairs, the operator
must stay with STAIRMATE holding STAIRMATE with both
hands.
CAUTION
Keep Rubber Crawler contact points as broad as possible.
Contacting with 2 stair noses is more dangerous than contacting
with 3 stair noses.
