Windows 98
1. Connect the Radium to your computer's USB port and power the Radium
keyboard up to the USB power position. The computer will update its
database as it looks for drivers. After doing so, your computer will identify
the Keystation as a USB device. Click "Next".
2. Windows Hardware Wizard will ask you what you want to do next.The "Search
for the best Driver for your Device” should already be checked—if not, do so
now. Click "Next" and then insert the CD-ROM driver disk into your
CD-ROM drive.
3. Windows will ask you for the location of the driver; uncheck all boxes
except, "Specify Location" and click "Browse."
4. Select the appropriate drive letter for your computer’s CD-ROM drive, then select
the Keystation folder. Click on the Win98SE folder to open it, then click "OK."
5. Now the location is specified in the "Add New Hardware Wizard Screen."
Click Next.
6. Windows will load the USB MIDI 1x1 Keystation Loader Driver, when it has
found it,Windows will state that it is now ready to install this driver. Click "Next."
7. The final Window of this part of the installation process will show that the
driver has been installed. Click "Finish."
8. Next, Windows will find an additional USB Device and label it "Unknown
Device." Click "Next" to continue.
9. Windows Hardware Wizard will ask you what you want to do next.The "Search
for the best Driver for your Device" should already be checked. Click "Next"
10. Windows will ask you for the location of the driver, uncheck all boxes except
“Specify Location” and click "Browse."
11. Using the Windows Explorer menu, navigate to your CD-ROM drive and open
the Keystation Folder. Select Win98SE to open the folder and click "OK".
12. Windows will now state that is has found the USB MIDI 1x1 Driver and is
ready to install this driver. Click "Next" to continue.
13.Windows will load the driver and report that it is finished. Click Finish to end
the installation.
Windows Me
1. Insert the Keystation Drivers CD into your PC’s CD ROM drive. Connect
the Radium to your computer's USB port and power the Radium keyboard
up to the USB power position. The computer will update its database as it
looks for drivers.
2. Windows’ "Add New Hardware Wizard" will come up. Select “Search for a
suitable driver for my device. (Recommended) and then click “Next” to continue.
3. Select CD-ROM under “Optional Search Locations,” and then click “Next”
to continue.
4. Windows will report that it has found the driver for this device. Click “Next”
to continue.
5. Windows will next askyou to repeat steps 2 through 4. Do so, now.
6. Windows will state that it has finished installing the new hardware device.
Simply Click "Finish" to complete the installation.
