Comm Speed setting is the RS232 Link interface speed. For stable communication with a
PC the default setting 9600 baud is default, with different PC’s and different lengths of
cables the settings can be changed for faster communication to 57600 baud. If a multi
amplifier setup is installed with Master/Slave communication, smaller delay can be
observed when using higher speed.

Trigger setup sets the usage of the trigger output option. If an SDA2175 is connected to
drive a subwoofer from the Line out, the trigger can be activated and used for controlling
the power of the SDA2175.

Remote Control setup makes it possible to activate or deactivate the remote control
sensitivity. This can be used in setups with more than one TDA 2200 amplifier in the room
where the master amplifier is the only one receiving signals from the remote, processes
them and controls the rest of the TDA 2200’s over the Lyngdorf RS232 link

Display timeout setup is used for enabling/disabling the 10 sec. display dim feature. If
enabled the Main Display reading will fade out after 10 sec of inactivity from the remote
control or front panel, dimming the display enhances the lifetime of the Display unit.

Default Volume setup controls the default volume at start up, it can be set from 0 to 99 dB
– but a setting over 88 is not recommended as this corresponds to max output with Fs
digital input.

Maximum Volume setup is a safety precaution used for controlling the maximum volume
which can be reached by spinning the wheel or increasing volume by remote. It is
recommended to set the maximum volume to a level between 89.0 dB and 99.9 dB
