Parity Parameter Default Value
None
A parity check bit is the most significant bit of each ASCII coded character. Select the parity type
according to host device requirements.
Set this parameter by scanning one of the following barcodes.
Odd Parity
The Odd parity bit has a value 0 or 1, based
on data, to ensure that an odd number of 1
bits is contained in the coded character.
Even Parity
The Even parity bit has a value 0 or 1, based
on data, to ensure that an even number of 1
bits is contained in the coded character.
Mark Parity
The parity bit is always 1.
Space Parity
The parity bit is always 0.
No Parity
No parity is required.
