RJ-45 Connector
You must have an access point to avail of the PC Free’s built-in wireless capability. If you don’t have
an access point, you can connect the PC Free to your Local Area Network (LAN) by means of the RJ-
45 connector.
USB Connectors
Connect a USB mouse or keyboard if you don’t have a PS/2 keyboard or mouse. Connect a USB
flash drive to transfer data to the PC Free. Most USB devices are supported and drivers are installed
automatically. See Using a Flash Drive with the PC Free on page 20.
PS2 Connector (Connecting a Mouse and Keyboard with the Y-cable)
You can only connect a PS/2 keyboard directly to the PS2 connector. If you want to connect a PS/2
mouse, you must first connect the supplied Y-splitter cable as shown below:
Audio In Connector
Connect an audio cable (not supplied) from the computer’s audio-out connector.
Connect the supplied audio cable (mini jack-to-RCA x 2) from a video device.
RS-232 Connector
The RS-232 connector is a reserved service port for firmware upgrades.
DVI Connector
Connect the supplied DVI cable from a computer. An optional cable can also be used to connect to
the component output of a DVD player or set-top box.
Audio Out Connector
Connect an amplifier or speakers to the audio out connector.
Video Connector
Connect a composite video cable from a video device such as a DVD player or camcorder.
S-Video Connector
Connect the supplied S-video cable from a video device such as a DVD player or camcorder.
