▪ Not only the architecture is relevant of reaching a SIL level, also the THR
value.

▪ The SIL2 level can also be reached with a one channel architecture if the
THR of the whole system is sufficient.

▪ For reaching the SIL level, a superior PLC is also necessary, because of the
data processing.
