17 RECYCLING
Meaning of crossed–out wheeled dustbin:
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate
collection facilities. Contact your local council for information regarding the collection
systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous
substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your

17.1 Preparing battery pack for recycling
After removing it from the machine, cover the battery pack’s terminals with heavy-duty
adhesive tape.

Do not attempt to destroy or take the battery pack apart or remove any of its components.

Do not touch both terminals with metal object or body parts ! Short circuit may result !

Keep away from children.

Failure to comply these warning could result in fire and /or serious injury.
