7. IP CAMERA SETUP 

 

 

Before using the IP Camera, you need to first change the default IP Address and setup 

the  environment  for  future  application.  If  you  do  not  know  the  IP  address  of  the  IP 

Camera;  first  connect  the  PC  to  the  IP  Camera  and  search  for  it  using  the  Discover 

software, change the IP address and finish the setup.   

 

 

 

 

 

7.1 Connect to IP Camera   

Three Methods for Connecting IP Camera: 

1. Get a Dynamic IP from DHCP Server   

Please refer to 7.2 On the LAN using Discoverer. 
 
2. Static IP Connection 

Please refer to 7.2 On the LAN using Discoverer. 

 

3. PPPoE Connection 

Please refer to 8.4 IP Settings (Setup IP via PPPoE). 

 

 

 

NOTE:  Before  using  PPPoE  and  DDNS  connection  method,  one  must  first  use  the 

Discoverer software to setup an IP Address.
