WARNING:
Do not force the connector pin
through the down rod. Use of force could
cause damage to the wires inside. Make sure
the stop pin is properly engaged to prevent it
from falling out.
1. Slide the canopy and decorative covers
over the downspout as shown in Figure 6.
2. Thread the fan power wires through the
decorative covers, canopy, and stem as
shown in Figure 7. Be careful not to pull on the
power wire. Place the rod down into the motor
collar. Turn until the holes are aligned, be
careful not to damage the wiring. Insert the
connecting pin into the holes (see fig. 7A).
Secure the stop pin and screw (Fig 7A).
3. Install the ball in the opening of the
mounting bracket. The tab opposite the
opening in the hanger bracket must fit into the
slot in the ball (Fig. 8).
4. Connect the wires. (Refer to the section
titled
“Electrical Connection”
.
5. Slide the canopy up and secure it to the
hanging bracket using the 2 screws provided
(Fig. 9).
WARNING
: To avoid motor shift, handle fan
by down rod.
