Install the Riving Knife and Blade
Gauge
‐ Remove the throat plate from the machine.
‐ Raise the blade to its highest position.
‐ Unlock the release lever as shown in the
image below by pulling it into a vertical
position.
‐ Place the riving knife into position, making
sure that the internal pins are engaged.
‐ Lock the release lever.
‐ Reinstall the throat plate.
‐ Mount the blade guard using the screw and
wingnut supplied.
‐ Place the hose on to the blade guard, and fit
into the port hole at the back on the machine.
Opening up the Stand
‐ Make sure the transport handle is pushed in
and the machine is not plugged into the mains
before proceeding.
‐ Place the machine on its back as shown below.
‐ Release the leg hook holding the legs in place.
‐ Untighten the thumb screws slightly so that the
legs move.
‐ Pull the leg up and push it in to the holes, and
then retighten the thumb screws.
‐ Repeat this process with the other leg, making
sure to tighten the thumb screws then stand the
machine up on its legs.
‐ The stand has height adjustment on the
bottom of each leg to make sure you can get the
saw level for cutting. Reverse these instructions
to set the machine in transport mode.
