Cleaning
Before
any
work
on
the
dust
collector
itself,
pull
the
mains
plug.
For
safe
and
proper
working,
always
keep
the
dust
collector
and
ventilation
slots
clean.
If
the
replacement
of
the
supply
cord
is
necessary,
this
has
to
be
done
by
an
authorized
service
agent
in
order
to
avoid
a
safety
hazard.
If
the
log
splitter
should
fail
despite
the
care
taken
in
manufacturing
and
testing
procedures,
repair
should
be
carried
out
by
an
authorised
service
centre.
Service
Replacing
hydraulic
oil
Replace
the
hydraulic
oil
in
the
log
splitter
after
every
150
hours
of
use.
Take
following
steps
to
replace
it.
–
Make
sure
all
moving
parts
stops
and
the
log
splitter
is
unplugged.
–
Unscrew
oil
drain
bolt
(
E
)
with
a
hex
key
and
remove
it.
– Turn
the
log
splitter
on
to
its
side
so
the motor
is
over
a
3
litre
capacity
container
and
allow
the
fluid
to
drain
off.
–
Turn
the
log
splitter
on
the
support
leg
side.
–
Refill
fresh
hydraulic
oil
at
the
volume
as
per
the
hydraulic
oil
capacity
of
a
particular
model
indicated
in
the
specifications
table.
–
Clean
the
surface
of
Dipstick
on
the
oil
drain
bolt
and
put
it
back
into
the
oil
tank
while
keep
the
log
splitter
vertical.
–
Make
sure
the
level
of
the
refilled
oil
is
just
between
2
grooves
around
the
dipstick.
–
Clean
the
oil
drain
bolt
before
thread
them
back.
Make
sure
they
are
tightened
to
avoid
leakage
before
placing
the
log
splitter
horizontally.
