WARNING

Switch off the external circuit breaker before starting the installation and secure 
against reconnection. 

 
 
The electrical connections to the CHM 8k are specified in more detail in  Figure 11. Connect the mains 
and data cables as shown in this figure. It is recommended to include external overvoltage protection in 
all connections to the device to prevent damage to the connection box. Internal lightning protection  is 
provided in the device.
