the UNITS and the instrument will walk backwards through the Setup menu until it exits the
menu completely.

To exit more quickly, press and hold the UNITS button. No matter what parameter is shown,
it will walk the user through all previous Setup Menu levels until the instrument returns to
normal operation.
When you get to a parameter that you want to change, use the MODE button to make the
change. If numbers are displayed on the parameter, the MODE button will increment the
numbers. Otherwise, the MODE button will cycle through the available settings. When you
have adjusted the parameter setting to your desired number or setting, extra-long press the
UNITS button. This will save the change and send you back up one screen to the page pa-
rameters. If more than one parmeter can be changed on the page, short press the ON/ACK
button to advance through the available parameters then used the MODE to change the pa-
rameter.
For example:
Set Detector 1, Rate Mode, Unit 1, Alarm 1 Value to 150 mR/h.
Enter the Setup Menu.
• Use the DETECTOR button to advance to d-1.
• Press the UNITS button to enter the menu.
• Use the MODE button to advance to P-2.
• Press the UNITS button to enter the menu.
• Press the UNITS button to get to the third of the seven menu items. This is the param-
eter setting for the “Unit 1 RATE/MAX Mode Alarm 1.”
• Press the ON/ACK button to advance to the tens digit.
• Press the MODE button to increment the value to 5.
• Press the ON/ACK button to advance to the hundreds digit.
• Press the MODE button to increment the value to 1.
