Switching on/off
Press the MENU/power switch button to start the unit.
Switch off the unit by pressing the MENU/power switch button until the unit switches off.

When the unit is started,
is shown on the display for 5 seconds. After which
is shown.
Use the arrow buttons to select START-UP, SIMULATOR.
Select START-UP for normal operation.
Select SIMULATOR to practice using the unit with simulated data. Press the left arrow once to
select SIMULATOR.
NOTE:
The backlight goes on temporarily each time the MENU button is pressed. You can set a
continuous backlight in the LIGHT menu.
Language
—
Press the MENU button repeatedly until the LANGUAGE menu
is shown. You can select ENGLISH or CHINESE.
Light
Press the MENU button repeatedly until the LIGHT menu is
shown.
You can select OFF to switch off the backlight, or ON to activate
the backlight with the required brightness.
