MAP/100P RAID System Recovery - 5

Recovering from a Multiple Hard Disk Drive Failure

For one of the hard disk drives marked DED, select:

Make Online

The system displays the following message:

This procedure could corrupt system data. Do you want to

continue?

Yes

If the system is unable to complete this step for the hard disk drives:

Check the RAID cable connectivity.

Check the hard disk drive carriage power cable connectivity.

If both cables are properly connected, contact your remote maintenance center.

Select:

Yes

Repeat Step 4 and Step 5 for each hard disk drive, other than the first hard disk drive
to fail, marked DED.

Press ESCAPE.

Continue, press PAGE DOWN.
