you begin
Location
Avoid locating the 4U40 cord-free headset where
it will be exposed to excessive heat or humidity
(e.g., in a kithcen or bathroom). The Base Unit of
the 4U40 may be placed on a desk or tabletop
near a standard 120V AC outlet and a telephone
line jack, mounted on a standard wall plate or
mounted directly on the wall. Keep the Base Unit
and Remote away from sources of electrical noise
(motors, flourescent lighting, etc.). Always insure
that there is sufficient space to safely extend the
Base Unit antenna to its full length.
Setting the Dial Mode Switch (rear panel of
base unit)
Set the dial mode switch to T for tone dialing, or
P for pulse dialing.
