CHAPTER 3 Basic Operation Guide
3.1 How to Start DVR
Notice: Before to power machine, please make sure the power input is eligible for local power supply.
Please observe steps below to start DVR:
STEP1
Connect DVR to AC adaptor and plug in.
STEP2
Turn on the DVR.
STEP3
Wait for DVR to initialize.
After DVR is powered on, ‘STARTING……’ appears on the screen, which indicates DVR is initializing.
When ‘WELCOME’ is displayed, you have been in live display mode. You can press "
Menu
" button to enter Main Menu.
The symbols displayed on the screen are explained as following table.

3.2 Main Menu Setting
There is a super administrator in the DVR. The super administrator has all setting purview. His username is "Admin", and
password is "123456". Steps of entering the Main Menu are described as below:

All of following instructions, as an example, are the steps operated only by Remote Controller. For USB mouse operation, much easier,
please operate according to dialogue boxes and menu items. If to operate by the front panel buttons, it does not support the control to PTZ. For all
other operations, they are same with that of the remote controller.
