The blanket must not be used over or under a waterbed.
It is recommended that a qualified and registered person inspect your electric blanket after each 3
years of use.
When storing, fold neatly but not tightly (or roll) in the original packaging without sharp bends in the
heating element and store where no other objects will be placed upon it.
Avoid pressing creases into the appliance.

The installation of a residual current device (safety switch) is recommended to provide additional
safety protection when using electrical appliances. It is advisable that a safety switch with a rated

The maximum noise level is less than 70dB according to EN ISO 7779.
The appliance is only to be used with the type of control unit marked on the appliance.
When storing the appliance allow it to cool down before folding.

Securing Your Blanket
Important
- Tie this blanket securely to the bed.
Place the blanket on the mattress, leaving room for the pillow and with the mains lead at the pillow
end.
Remove tags from tie tapes.
Pass the middle tie tape under the middle of the mattress and through the middle loop on the
opposite side. Tie tightly (fig 1)
Pass end tape under the corresponding bottom corner of the mattress and through the end loop,
down under the other bottom corner of the mattress and through the bottom side loop (fig 2). Tie
tape firmly.
Repeat procedure for the tape at the top end.
The blanket should now be firmly taped to mattress as shown in fig 3.
