6 Function check
6.1 Intervals
Carry out a function check at regular intervals:
• After each hygienic preparation
• After each repair
• At least every 6 months
6.2 Performing a function check
1. Inspect the housing for cracks, damage, and heavy soiling.
2. Connect the module up to the therapy device (see "4.1
Connecting the module up to the therapy device", page 35) .
3. Check whether the symbol is shown on the therapy
device display.
4. Connect the pulse oximetry sensor (see "4.3 Connecting the
pulse oximetry sensor", page 37) .
5. Check whether the current oxygen saturation and pulse rate
values are shown on the display.
6. If the module does not work properly or shows signs of
damage: Contact your authorized dealer.
Result The function check is complete.
