8. Data logger
Logger operation not possible with Auto-Range! The measurement range
must be pre-selected prior to operation – see chapter 7 "Configuration
of the device" -
The device has two different logger functions:
„Func-Stor“:
Manual measurement recording at the push of the "store" button
In addition, a measurement entry (L-Id) is requested.
„Func-CYCL“:
Automatic cyclical recording in the adjusted time interval
The logger records the conductivity and the temperature for each data set.
A data set is comprised of: Measurement cond/rES/TDS/SAL (one of these)
Temperature measurement value
L-ID measurement point (only with "Func-Stor")
Time and date at which the data is saved
For the evaluation and transmission of the data, the software GSOFT3050 (V3.0 or later) is
required. It can be used to start and adjust the logger function very simply.
With the logger function activated (Func Stor of Func CYCL), the hold function is not available;
in this case the "store" button is responsible for the logger operation.
8.1 Manual storage ("Func-Stor")
a) Record measurements manually:
If the "Func Stor" logger function was selected (see "Configuration of the device"),
up to 1000 measurements can be saved manually:
Press briefly:
Data set is saved ("St. XX" is briefly displayed. XX is the
number of the data set.)
or
measurement point input
"L-Id": Selection of the measurement point
with keys. Number from 0 - 19999.
The entry is confirmed.
If the logger memory is full, the following appears
b) Call up manual recording:
Saved data sets can be read in the GSOFT3050 software and can be observed in the device
display itself.
Press for two seconds:
The following appears in the display:
i
"rEAd LoGG" only appears if the data sets have already
been saved! Without data sets, the configuration menu
appears
Press briefly:
Switch between measurement values, measurement point
and date+time display of the data set
or
Switch between the calibration data sets.
