  Group washing

If provided for in the programming, the machine 

automatically requests that the washing of the de-

livery groups be carried out.

Attention: during this phase, all the coffee se-

lections are disabled until the washing has been 

completed.

Follow the indications provided on the display:

t Use the solid filter;
t insert the detergent tab into the filter;
t attach the portafilter to delivery group 1;
t press the "PROG/STOP

"

 key to start the washing 

phase;

t the following messages appear on the display in 

alternating sequence:

t wait for the washing to be carried out until the 

following messages appear on the display:

Carry out the washing operations on the other 

groups following the same procedures indicated 

above.

If desired, the washing request can 

be forced by pressing and holding the 

(

) key of the programming selector 

for 5 seconds.

t remove the portafilter from delivery group 1 and 

press the “PROG/STOP

 key. 

t wait for the rinse cycle to be carried out (this takes 

roughly 30 seconds), and the following messages 

will appear on the display:

t at the end of the rinse cycle, the following mes-

sages will appear on the display:

The washing operations can also be carried out 

simultaneously on several delivery groups. To 

exit the washing phase, the washing must be 

completed on all the groups.

Checks and maintenance

To ensure perfect safety and efficiency of the 

machine  over  time,  it  is  necessary  to  carry  out  

maintenance. In particular, it is advisable to ask the 

Technical Service to carry out an overall check of 

the machine at least once a year.
