Illuminated red. If the lamp
remains illuminated or
illuminates whilst driving,
a fault in the airbag or pre-
tensioned seat belt system

should be rectified without

Suspension fault : The indicator illuminates when there
is a fault in the suspension system. Contact a Lynk & Co
Center for inspection.
Wiper fault : The indicator illuminates when there is a
fault in the wipers system. Contact a Lynk & Co Center
for inspection.

Fuel gauge
Coolant temperature
Tachometer
Speedometer: The speedometer shows the vehicle's speed.
Fuel gauge: The gauge shows the fuel level in the tank. The
average and instantaneous fuel consumption are also shown in
the right mode view area of the driver display (
p. 72
). Refuel as
soon as possible when the gauge becomes red (
p. 218
).
Coolant temperature: The gauge shows the engine coolant
temperature.
Tachometer: The tachometer shows the engine speed in
revolutions per minute (rpm).

The appearance of the gauges above vary depending on
the display theme you've selected.

Tyre Pressure System
Illuminates amber when a
tyre pressure is too low. If
selected as a widget option,
current pressure and
temperature information can
also be shown in the driver
display. Page 205.
If there is a fault in the tyre
pressure system, the symbol
will flash for approximately 1
minute and then illuminate
with a constant glow
indicating that the system
cannot detect or warn of low
tyre pressure as intended.

Warning symbol in red : The warning indicator alerts
you that an important function is activated or that a
serious fault has occurred that may affect the vehicle's
drivability. The warning symbol can also illuminate in
conjunction with other indicators.
Low engine oil pressure : This indicator warns of low
engine oil pressure. If the indicator illuminates during
normal driving, find a safe place and stop the vehicle
immediately, contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.
SRS airbag fault : If this warning indicator illuminates
during driving, it means a fault has been detected in
the front airbags, side airbags or inflatable curtain
and/or pre-tensioner systems. If this happens, contact a
Lynk & Co Center for inspection.
Front passenger airbag on : The front
passenger airbag is activated and adults
can sit safely in the front passenger seat.
Never sit a child on a booster cushion, in a
child seat or in a rear-facing child seat on the front passenger seat
if the airbag is activated.
Front passenger airbag off : The front passenger
airbag is deactivated and children shorter than 140 cm
in a child seat can sit in the front passenger seat. It is
safer when the child is properly secured in the rear
seats.
Seat belt reminder : The indicator illuminates if the seat
belt is unfastened in the driver or front passenger seat.
Battery charging fault : If this warning indicator
illuminates while the engine is running, it may indicate
the charging system is not functioning properly. Please
switch off all the unnecessary electrical equipments,
contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.
Brake fault : The warning indicator illuminates if there is
a fault in the brake system (e.g. low brake fluid).
Contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.
Anti-lock braking system fault : If the warning indicator
illuminates when the engine is running or during
driving, there may be a fault in the Anti-lock braking
system. Contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.
Brake light fault : The indicator illuminates when there is
a fault in the brake lights system. Contact a Lynk & Co
Center for inspection.
Direction indicator fault : The indicator illuminates when
there is a fault in the direction indicators system.
Contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.
Coolant temperature : This indicator illuminates when
the engine is overheating. If this happens, turn off the
air conditioning and let the engine idle for a while. If the
indicator remains illuminated, stop the vehicle safely
and contact a Lynk & Co Center.
Steering assist fault : The indicator illuminates when
there is a fault in the power steering assist system.
Contact a Lynk & Co Center for inspection.

Messages
Certain symbols generate a chime,
message and icon overriding either the
central or the right-hand side of the
driver’s display screen.
Messages displayed indicate that either
a vehicle system has been activated,
vehicle information is available or that
a system fault has been detected.
The message will inform the driver of
any actions to be taken, such as
releasing the parking brake through to
stopping the vehicle if necessary.
Some messages may only appear brief-
ly and are then stored as notifications,
but any associated message symbols
will remains illuminated until the fault
is rectified.
