3. Connecting the Monitor

Power Adapter

Monitor

DVR or PC

HDMI Cable (Audio and Video)

VGA Cable (Video)

Headphones 
(Optional, not included)

RCA Cable (Audio, not included)

Connect an HDMI cable from the 

HDMI

 port on the monitor to an HDMI port on your DVR or 

PC to enable high-definition video and audio; 

OR 

connect a VGA cable from the 

PC

 port on the 

monitor to a VGA port on your DVR or PC. 
• If you are using a VGA cable, to enable the built-in speakers, you will need to connect an RCA 

cable (not included) from the 

PCL

 port on the monitor to an Audio Out port on your DVR.

Connect the power adapter to the 

DC IN 12V

 port on the monitor. Connect the other end to a 

surge protector or power outlet.

Press the 

POWER

 button on the side of the monitor to power on the monitor.

Power on your DVR or PC.
