Tare Mounting Pitch-Roll

This function captures the current pitch-roll orientation of the device and sets it as the level reference,

providing a convenient way to set the sensor to vehicle frame transformation. For more information on

the corresponding LORD Sensing MIP Data Communications Protocol (DCP) command, see the

DCP Manual  .

NOTE

The filter must be initialized and have a valid attitude output. If the attitude is not valid, an error

will be returned. The Tare Mounting Pitch-Roll assumes that the X-axis is co-aligned with the

X-axis of the vehicle.

To tare the pitch-roll, select the sensor name in the MIP Monitor software main window, then select

Settings > Tare Mounting Pitch/Roll > OK.
