7. Installation
7.1 Mounting Recommendations
The G-Link-200 is rated for IP67 environmental protection from water and dust and can be used in
many indoor and outdoor applications. .
There is one ¼ - 28 UNF - 2B mounting hole on the base of the G-Link-200. For proper coupling of the
accelerometer to the substrate being measured, use the mounting hole and a screw to fasten the node
to a rigid surface. This will reduce higher frequency losses.
The node can be mounted in any orientation, but it is recommended that it is mounted in a way that
optimizes wireless communications. For more information,
see Optimizing the Radio Link on page 45
