System Configuration
3.5.1.
Console Port
The console port allows the user either to use a local VT-100 terminal or use a remote VT-100 terminal
via modem for system configuration, diagnostics, polling status reports, etc. The console port Baud rate,
data bit length, stop bit length, and parity bit length are defaulted, as shown below.

Alarm
When the Loop-IP6702A reports an alarm condition, such as loss of synchronization, the ALARM will
cause the LED on the front panel to light. Each alarm can be individually enabled or disabled. The
alarm types are listed in the table as below.
