Please note:
To avoid damaging the mechanism, never alter the date
between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m.
3. Fully extended
Resetting the time and stop-second:
Pull the crown right out; the
small seconds on the dial is now stationary.
Reset the time by turning the crown in either direction.
When the hand show the correct time (according to a telephone, radio
or TV signal), push the crown right in.
Important:
If you have any problems with your chronograph it should
only be mended by an official Longines agent.
Making sure your watch is water-resistant
Your chronograph is water-resistant. But if it receives a blow, it may lose
its water-resistance without you realizing it. Ask for its water-resistance
to be checked when you have your watch serviced.

How to use your Longines chronograph
Your chronograph is an accurate and reliable timepiece that you will
enjoy using every day. It is fitted with a Longines L651 automatic move-
ment.
This watch offers all the functions of a standard timepiece, i.e. hour,
minute and seconds hands and date.
As a chronograph it can be used to time events lasting up to 30 min-
utes, showing the results in fifths of a second.
The crown (3 positions)
1. Standard position
Rewinding:
The natural movement of your arm will automatically
rewind your Longines chronograph, which has a power reserve of 42
hours. It is only necessary to wind it manually if it ist not worn for sever-
al days at a time.
2. Intermediary position
Resetting the date:
Turn the crown backwards to alter the date and
then push it right in. It is only necessary to reset the date manually at the
end of a month that has fewer than 31 days.
