with LifeSize® Express 220™

1

Unscrew the thumbnuts shipped with square foam from the base (4x)

and HD display (4x). Discard the foam. Place the base on the

fl

oor near the

fi

nal location for the system. Remove the shipping foam from between the

foundation and metal overlay. Turn the overlay so the most presentable

side faces upward.

2

Insert the phone cable (from the phone box) and the VGA cable (from

cable bag 1) through the cable channel that runs along the underside of

the base and pull them through the hole in the center. Pull at least 1 m

(3.3 ft) of the phone cable and 80 cm (32 in) of the VGA cable through the

hole.

Note:

Cables can be inserted into the cable channel from the front

(shown) or back of the base.

3

Thread the phone cable and VGA cable through the hole in the bottom

of the stand and place the stand on top of the base screws.

Note:

LifeSize recommends two people to mount the display.

4

Use 4 thumbnuts to secure the stand to the base screws.

5

Insert the video system, rear panel facing upward, into the brackets on

the component panel. Adjust the brackets so the two fan ports on the

video system are centered beneath the ba

ffl

e.

6

Place the component panel inside the stand, using the screws on the

stand as guides. Use the 3 thumbnuts included with the panel to secure

it to the screws.

7

Place the electronics box into the two brackets near the bottom of the

stand. Secure the box and panel to the stand with the 2 thumbscrews

included with the component panel. Ensure the phone cable remains to

the left side of the electronics box (inside the stand) as you secure it.

Similarly, ensure the VGA cable remains to the right of the electronics box.

8

Connect the free ends of the VGA cable and phone cable to the

electronics box and video system, indicated by cables 1-2 on the wiring

diagram.

9

Guide the 2 mounting hangers located on the upper back side of the

display into the corresponding keyholes in the stand, and gently slide the

display downward into place.

Note:

LifeSize recommends two people to mount the display.

10

Reach into the stand from the back and secure the display to the stand

with 2 thumbnuts.

11

Remove the cables from bag 2 and connect them from the display to

the video system and electronics box, indicated by cables 3-6 on the

wiring diagram.

 Note:

The display requires only 4 cables, even though it features

       additional ports.
