ee mode
W
ithout picking up the handset, this function enables you to :
• Hear the call tone.
• Dial the number of your correspondent
• Hear your correspondent
• Speak with your correspondent.

- Wait for the call tone then dial the number of your correspondent.
• Speak when your correspondent picks up the phone.

o switch from hands free mode to handset mode :
• During a call in hands fr
ee mode.
- Press the key to stop the hands free mode.
- Pick up the handset to speak.
• At the end of the call, press the key
or replace the handset on its base.
N.B. :
The hands fr
ee volume is set in the same way as the handset listening volume
(see next section).
CAUTION :
Pr
olonged use of hands free mode during a call uses up the battery
power very quickly, thus greatly reducing the autonomy of the device.
2-8 Adjusting the listening and hands fr
ee volume
Setting the listening volume in the earphone is identical to setting the
hands free volume.
The volume can be set to 5 levels (1 minimum and 5 maximum).
The listening volume is set at level 4 by default.
You will have to set the listening volume for a call.
