Overview
LHC consists of an HD video recorder that is controlled by a scientific-quality audio recorder (LS1) that
also triggers video recordings. Audio is collected by a hydrophone that is external to the recorder.
LHC is housed in a PVC tube and is depth rated to 500 m.
Each board has its own microSD flash card. Typically, the larger card (e.g. 128 GB) is used with the video
camera and the smaller card (e.g. 64 GB) is used with the LS1 audio board.
The audio board records at 44.1 kHz. The video camera does not record audio.
