Safety Instructions for Operation and 
Maintenance Continued:

Before inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, adjusting 
or  servicing  any  part  of  the  Kwik-Pik,  always 
exercise 

the

Procedure. 

After  service  has  been  performed, 

be sure to restore all guards, shields and covers 
to their original position. 

 

 

Always use an approved rollbar and seatbelt for 
safe  operation.  Overturning  a  loader  without 
using  these  protective  devices  can  result  in 
injury or death.  

 

 

Do  not  wear  loose  or  baggy  clothing  around 
moving machinery. 

 

 

Warning: 

 

 

Read and observe all warning decals on machine 
before  attempting  to  operate  the  Kwik-Pik.  Do 
not  attempt  to  operate  this  machine  unless  all 

factory installed safety devices and decals are in 
place.  Keep  safety  decals  clean  from  dirt  and 

grime. If they become damaged, or it the unit is 
repainted, replace the decals. 

 

 

 

Never  operate  the  Kwik-Pik  without  guards, 
shields, plates, or other safety precaution devices 
in  place.  Shields  are  for  your  protection,  keep 
them in place. 

 

 

 

Entanglement  from  rotating  components  can 
result  in  personal  injury  or  death,  keep  hands 
and  feet  away.  Do  not  step  on  or  climb  over 
the  unit  while  the  machine  is  in  operation  or 
engine is running. Do not carry passengers.

 

 

 

Never operate the Kwik-Pik without good light 

and visibility.

 

 
 
 

 
 

 

Be especially carefully not to touch loader or any 
attachment  parts  which  might  be  hot  from 
operation.  Allow  such  parts  to  cool  before 
attempting to maintain, adjust or service.

 

 

 

Operating  Kwik-Pik  reel  at  more  that  35  RPM 
can  cause  injury  or  death  and  result  in 

component  damage  to  machine  (see  initial  set-
up in section 2, page 2-1). 

 

 

 

Use the hand holds and step plates when getting 

on  and  off  the  loader  to  prevent  falls.  Keep 
steps and platform clean from mud and debris. 

 

 

 

The  operator  must  not  use  drugs  or  alcoholic 
drinks  which  impair  their  alertness  or 
coordination while working. An operator who is 

taking  prescription  drugs  must  get  medical 
clearance  to  verify  that  he  can  safely  operate  a 

machine.

 

 

 

Warning: 

 

 

Before  using  the  Kwik-Pik  on  a  new  job  site, 
check  the  rules  and  regulations  at  the  location. 
The rules may include an employer’s work safety 
requirements.  Regulations  my  identify  a  hazard 

such as buried cables. 

 

 

 

Never dump over a post or any obstruction that 
could  enter  the  operator’s  cab  if  the  loader 
accidentally  tips  forward,  causing  serious  injury 
or death. 

 

 

 

Locking-wedge  pins  must  extend  through  the 

holes in attachment mounting plate. Levers must 
be fully down in the locked over-center position. 
Failure  to  secure  wedge  pins  can  allow 

attachment  to  come  off,  causing  serious  injury 
of death. 

 

 

 

Make  sure  all  the  controls  (levers,  pedals  and 
switches),  are  in  the  neutral  position  before 
staring the loader engine.
