Not working at all
Mains cable not plugged in.
Plug the mains cable into a socket
220-240 V 50/60 Hz.
No picture.
The device is not connected properly.
Make the connections as described on page 11-13 .
The TV set is not set up to receive DVD signals.
On the TV set, select the correct AV programme slot.
The video cable is not connected properly.
Check the both cable plugs to make sure they are firmly
plugged into the sockets.
No sound.
Faulty connections of input or output cables.
Connect the cables properly (page 11). If the problem persists, it is
possible that the cables are faulty.
The volume is set at minimum.
Turn up the volume.
The sound is set to mute.
Press

V +
on the remote control to activate audio output
again and then adjust the volume.
If the TV programme of the analogue stations is
changed, a switch noise can be heard.
The external sound source is connected via
TV IN
(COAXIAL IN) but the digital TV sound outlet not
active.
Adjust the digital sound outlet in your TV set (for Loewe TV
sets see Sound Components - HiFi/AV amplifier).
The external source is connected via
EURO AV
.
Connect the external sound source via
LINE IN 1
(INPUT
AUX R/L).
The inserted disc will not play.
Wrong Area Code on the Disc.
Europe is in the DVD Regional code 2. DVDs that you buy in
Europe are set up for this Area Code. DVDs with other Area
Codes can not be played back.
The Disc is dirty.
Clean the disc.
A displayed media file cannot
be played.
The file format is not supported (page 31).
On a computer, convert the file into a supported format using
an audio converter programme.
No radio reception.
The FM Antenna is not pointing in the right direction
or is not connected.
Check the antenna connection and if necessary realign the
antenna.
If necessary, connect an antenna.
The signal strength of the radio channel is too low.
Tune in the stations manually and switch to Mono.
The unit is not working properly.
Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket and then try
plugging it in again after 30 seconds.
The software of your Loewe TV set is
not compatible with
AudioVision
.
Contact your specialist retailer.
The remote control is not working properly.
The batteries in the remote control are dead.
Replace the batteries with new ones.
