8 Troubleshooting
This error is displayed after the exposure
has been started, but the shutter does not
open.
– No compressed air.
– Air throttle (advance forward/shutter
closed) of pneumatic cylinder closed.

Check compressed air connections

To open closed air throttle, turn counter clockwise approx. 1 turn. Correct setting if
error message is repeated.
Measured value below UV minimum
setting.

Replace bulb, See section 8.3.
This error will be displayed if the cure
cycle is interrupted by the user,
e.g. in time-controlled mode by triggering
a 2
nd
start signal;
but not by pressing the Emergency stop
button.
Other reasons:
In continuous mode:
– Maximum exposure time 900 s (15 min) exceeded.
8.2 General Errors and their Corrective Actions
Malfunction Possible Cause Corrective Action
Equipment does

– No power.
– Power switch not depressed.
– Power fuses defective.
– Power cord defective. 
Check supply voltage.

Press power switch.

Check fuse.

Replace power cord.
Excessive wear
of the bulb when
operating at
500W
– Bulb is operated only at 500W.

Operate the bulb daily at 1000 W
for about 15 minutes..
