Troubleshooting
If the MikroCAD software can’t connect to the scanner or you see no image in the software, verify
the following.
Power and Connections
Check power and connections:
• Ensure that the power cord is plugged into a wall outlet and that the power cord is
connected to the
Power over Ethernet injector
.
• Ensure that the Ethernet cables are connected to the computer and to the scanner.
You should see a lit indicator on the power supply and the scanner.
Virus Scanner and Firewall
Virus scanners and firewalls can prevent connections to the sensor. If the software can’t connect
to the scanner, disable your virus scanner. Disable your firewall or adjust the firewall to allow the
software to communicate over the network.
Network Card Setup
Make sure the network card that the scanner is connected to is properly configured:
1. On the Windows taskbar, right-click the network symbol and choose
Open Network and
Sharing Center
to access the network connections.
2. Click on
Change adapter settings
