Date and time not showing on screen.

The digital recorder automatically records the date and time and will
show up on the play back.  Digital recorder manual has details and
would be useful reading.  Pressing the date and time button on the
recorder will show the date and time on screen.
5.              It’s a good idea to put together a “kit” of useful tools and components
when going on a set.  Some of the things we believe to be useful are:

a.

Camo tape—purchase at sporting goods

b.

Cordless drill and paddle bit  - use to attach sensors, transmitters,
drill holes, set screws, hide bullet camera, etc.

c.

Camo netting—purchase at sporting goods

d.

Extra batteries

e.

Switch assortment  -  you never know what you might need to
trigger the camera, and any normally open/closed switch can be
connected to our transmitters

f.

Utility knife

g.

Screwdriver assortment

h.

All of the above can easily be placed in a duffle bag or toolbox

Find the Programming switch, Figure H, located on the right hand side of the
panel below the System Power switch.  This feature allows you to select differ-
ent modes of operation for flexibility depending on site application.  The dif-
ferent programs are listed on the Top Panel inside the case.  Programs 1
through 6 are for different recording times and are for day time use only.  In
these 6 modes, the system will shut
down and sleep when light levels fall
below 1 lux.  Programs 7 through 9 and
0 will allow the system to operate 24
hours a day.  Program 0 is set for 24
hour operation and 10 second motion
interval.

3.

The 24 hour mode uses the light sensor to automatically switch the Sony Night
Shot camera to Night Shot mode when light levels fall below 1 lux.  During
daytime activation the Sony Night Shot camera will record pictures in color
and at night will switch to the Night Shot mode which is black and white.

*NOTE*  The Night Shot switch on the camera control panel must always be in the
OFF position

.

The processor will activate this switch according to the light levels

detected by the light sensor.
