TROUBLE SHOOTING
TROUBLE
POSSIBLE CAUSES
REMEDY

The light is off:
heating plate is not
getting hot.
Cooker is not connected to
power supply.
Check the switch, outlet, fuse, cord
and connect it correctly.
The light is off: heating
plate is getting hot.

The lights or resistance
are loose.

The appliance should be replaced or
repaired by a qualified electrical
person.

The light is on: heating
plate is not hot

The wire is loose.

Heating tube broke
down.

The rice is half-cooked or
cooking time is too long.

Not enough water.

Heating plate may be
deformed.

The cooker pot is
slanting to one side,

between cooking pot and
heating plate.

Add more water and approx. 1
cup.

When it is a little deformed,
polish the heating plate with
fine sand paper.

Turn the cooking pot round
slightly until it fits the heating
plate properly.

Polish the particles with fine
sand paper.

Take it to an authorized service
center for repair.
