2.1 Unpacking the Fireplace
WARNING! Do NOT use this appliance if any part has been under water. Immediately call a
qualified service technician to inspect and to replace any part of the electrical system if
necessary. Keep plastic wrapping away from children.

Open the packaging carefully and remove the foam; make sure that the appliance is intact, has no
signs of damage caused by transport, and no part of it has been exposed to water. If in doubt, do
not use the appliance and contact an authorized service center.
• Remove and discard the plastic bag.
• Be responsible when handling the packing materials.
• Keep the original packaging because this may be needed if you have a complaint about the product
or for future transport and/or storage.
