Be sure to remove the lid before lighting the fireplace.

•

To light the fireplace, push and turn the control knob on the side of the body (B) counterclockwise to activate the

piezo ignition. It may take several attempts to light the flame.

•

To adjust the flame, turn the control knob either clockwise or counterclockwise depending on whether you want

to lower or raise the flame. Observe flame height when lit; flame should be a yellow/blue colour between 1 to 10"

(2.5 to 25 cm) high.

•

Push and turn the control knob clockwise to turn off fireplace.

•

After fireplace is completely cool, lock lid in place by turning clockwise.

•

Be sure to observe fireplace flame; if the flame patterns appear abnormal, adjust the control knob again.

•

Please keep propane gas tank a minimum of 5' (1.5 m) away from fireplace when lit.

•

Keep the fireplace free and clear from combustible materials.

•

Visually inspect the burner for obstructions; keep tank enclosure free and clear from debris.

•

After the burner and pumice stones are completely cooled down, use a soft cloth to get rid of the mild stains,

loose dirt and soil. Wipe with a soft cloth.

•

Stubborn stains, discolouration and possibly rust pitting can occur from exposure to harsh outdoor conditions.

•

Be careful not to let any powder or solvent come in contact with painted or plastic components as damage may

occur.

•

Store the fireplace in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

•

The propane gas tank must be disconnected and removed from the fireplace before the appliance can be stored

indoors.

•

Use manufacturer-approved or supplied parts and accessories only. Otherwise, it will void the warranty of this

product and result in a hazardous condition.

Perform leak test in a well-ventilated area outside where no source of spark can occur. Connect propane gas

tank to regulator. Turn the on/off valve at the unit to the “OFF’” position to pressurize the control system. Use

a soapy-water solution to check all the connections for leaks before attempting to light the appliance. If a leak

is found, or you smell gas, disconnect cylinder and turn valve off. Do not use the appliance until repairs can be

made.
DO NOT cover fireplace directly after flame is out. Wait for fireplace to cool completely prior to placing lid on

fireplace.
